| IPM scouting in stone fruits > peach perennial canker |
Elongated cankers, often with amber-colored gum, develop on the trunk and scaffold limbs and in branch crotches of peach and occasionally nectarine, apricot, sweet cherry, plum and prune.
Dieback of short shoots and twigs occurs in the interior of trees, especially following winter injury. Limb dieback is seen particularly on plum, prune, apricot and sweet cherry. |
